What is iPAQ Choice?
If you are a new iPAQ Pocket PC owner look out for the brochure in the box that explains how the promotion works.
On the back of the brochure is a special voucher number that unlocks your opportunity to select software within this site.
As a new iPAQ Pocket PC owner you are entitled to iPAQ points* which can be redeemed, completely FREE of charge**, against the software of your choice from the great selection offered.
When you have confirmed your selection, you will need to download purchased software to your PC. Once downloaded to your PC the software can easily be installed onto your new iPAQ for your enjoyment.
*Terms and conditions of the iPAQ Software Choice Offer can vary per country.
**Please note the cost of dialing up to the Internet is at your cost.(N.B. that the H4150 iPAQ Pocket PC is not part of the iPAQ Choice Program)
You do not have to redeem all your points or download your entire title selection at once. Your Account will always be updated with the remaining number of iPAQ points you have spent, or have left.
As mentioned you can also buy a pointPAQ, to redeem software on this website. Choose either a 3, 5, 7, 10, 15 or 20 points from just €17.95 and use it to download the software of your choice. Titles are grouped by category and point value.

How to Set Up Your Account
Please go to the Registration & Login Page where you can register an account before you start to select your iPAQ software. Your account details are stored on our secure server to ensure complete security for your personal information.
How to Change Account Details
You can update and change your account information such as email address and password. Once you have logged in, you can update your account details using the option under the menu 'Your Account'.
Problems logging on
Please ensure that your email address and password are correct. If you have forgotten your password, you don't have to open a new account. You can either request for your password hint to be displayed on the screen or for the password to be emailed to you.
Simply enter your email address on the Registration & Login Page and choose the appropriate option ('Please show my password hint' or 'Email me my password').
If you are still having problems logging into your account please Contact Customer Services making sure you supply the email address which you used to register your iPAQ Choice Account.

What is a Voucher Number?
The iPAQ Choice promotional brochure will have a voucher number printed on the back that allows you access to the software once you have registered. Only with the voucher number can you gain access to your entitled software. Please note that you have 3 months to use all your free points.
My iPAQ Choice brochure has expired. Can I still use my voucher number?
If you have a valid iPAQ Software Choice brochure with an expiry date, then please select and download your software as soon as possible.
I Have Purchased more than one iPAQ
If you have purchased more than one iPAQ, you can still claim your software for each iPAQ purchase. Each voucher number allows you points. So if 2 iPAQs are purchased, you will be entitled to double the points to spend online*.
You do not however have to set up more than one account as you may choose to add all voucher numbers into one account and spend your points from here. You will still be able to install the software on any of the iPAQ's you have purchased.

My Voucher Number Does Not Work
Please ensure all numbers and letters are inserted correctly. Voucher numbers are 10 digits long, and look like this:
ABC12-DEF34
If for some reason your voucher number is not accepted on the site you will have to contact customer services and provide proof that you have purchased an iPAQ Pocket PC.
Please remember you must have a valid brochure to be part of the iPAQ Software Choice Offer. Without this brochure customer service cannot issue any vouchers numbers.
How Many Points Do I Have?
Each voucher numbers entitles you to 4 points to spend on iPAQ software.

pointPAQs - Need to buy points?
Should you wish to purchase software from the iPAQ Choice website, you can do so by buying a pointPAQ. Simply log into your iPAQ account and click 'buy a pointPAQ' where you can purchase points from a wide range of pointPAQs.
The points are automatically allocated to your online account as soon as your payment is authorised. You can spend these points immediately or you can save them for another time if you wish.
Please note: points are not delivered to you.
How Many Software Titles Are On The iPAQ Choice Site?
We can boast over 200 software titles for you to choose from and download. Our aim is to source the best software titles from the best publishers around the world.
What Are The Software Categories?
Due to the wide selection of software, we have grouped the software titles into 8 title categories: Games, Entertainment, Software Tools, Travel & Maps, Languages & Translators, Business & Finance, Multimedia and Software Packs
With most title categories you will be able to select a more concise range of sub-categories. For example, you can find Connectivity and Mobility sub-categories under Software Tools or Card and Word Games under Entertainment.
What Are The Software Points?
As well as being grouped under a software category each title will be given a point value of anything from 1 to 10 points.
What Does A Single User Licence Mean?
A single user licence means you may only download any of the software titles onto the hard disk drive of any single compatible PC you own and may only install and use this software on a single iPAQ Pocket PC. When you download your software choice you will be asked to accept the terms of conditions as a single user licence user. Without accepting, you cannot download any of the software.

None of The Software Is Appealing To Me?
We aim to have the best Pocket PC software available in this website. Currently we are adding software titles every month so we recommend you to check the website regularly for new titles.
Do I Have To Use All My Points In One Visit?
No, you can simply visit the site as many times as you wish to complete your selection. You will need to login to your account using your email address and password.
Can I Change My mind Once I've Selected My Software?
As soon as you 'confirm your software selection', your points will be deducted and you will be unable to change your selection.

What happened to iPAQ Download Agent?
iPAQ Download Agent was from former service provider, unfortunately we don't have it and have no possibility to support is somehow.
You will get all your new purchases in 'My Account'. (ipaqchoice.com/us/user).
How do I download software now?
You will need to login to your account using your email address and password.
How long does it take to download the software?
This depends on the size of the software and the speed of your modem. If you lose connection from the Internet during the download process you will need to download the software again once you have regained connection.
How do I install the software to my iPAQ?
Once the software has been downloaded to your PC, you will need to install the software to your iPAQ using Microsoft ActiveSync® or another syncing application.
How do I un-install the software from my iPAQ?
To safely un-install the software from your iPAQ you will need to click on Start, Settings, System and Remove programs. Select the program you wish to remove and click on remove.
Can I re-install the software to my iPAQ after un-installing?
Yes, the software can be re-installed.
How do I re-download software?
If you do need to download the software again, please logon to www.ipaqchoice.com, go to 'your account' and select 'Download'. On the 'My Account' page, you are given information on how to download the application.
Why Have My Points Been Deducted When I Haven't Installed The Software?
Once you have chosen to 'confirm your software selection', your points will be deducted. Your selection cannot be changed at this stage of the process. When your software is downloaded you can choose to install the software on your iPAQ Pocket PC, at your leisure.

How to Tell If Your Device Is a SmartPhone or Pocket PC Phone?
SmartPhones and Pocket PC phones work slightly differently. When setting up your new device or downloading add-on software, it is important to know which version of the Windows Mobile operating system is installed on your device.
Pocket PC phones come with a stylus that you can use to touch the screen. Also, on Pocket PC phones, the Windows flag logo appears on the top left of the home screen.
SmartPhones do not have a touchscreen or stylus, and, on the home screen, the Windows flag logo appears on the bottom left of the home screen. SmartPhones can have either QWERTY keyboards or 12-key keypad.
Do your products work with Mac OS X or Linux?
If you are not using Microsoft Windows on your PC or laptop you need CAB files to install purchased software directly from device.
My Software Does Not Work On My iPAQ Pocket PC?
If for some reason the software does not work on your iPAQ Pocket PC or there are error messages, please visit the publisher website or contact the publisher directly. You can do this by logging into your account and selecting Product Support.
We advise this as more than not, the publisher can provide solutions as to why something is not working as it should be through contact or their own FAQs.
If after contacting the publisher you still have no luck, please get in touch with our customer services team giving as much information as possible in your email.
What Is A Product Key Code?
Also known as a registration key, unlock code or installation key
A product key code will unlock the software so that it can be accessed. Without the product key code, you will not be able to use the software. Many titles offered will require a product key code. This will be displayed on the Download Agent once the software title has been downloaded.
Please check that the product key is being entered correctly before contacting customer service. For example, there has been instances when a '0' (zero) has been misinterpreted as the letter 'O' etc.
Please note: Not all titles require a product key code. Most product key codes are case sensitive!

How Can I Get Technical Support or More Information On The Software Titles That I Have Downloaded?
Once you have downloaded a software title you will find support information under the option 'Product Support'. Remember that you can only get the contact details of the publishers of the Software that you already selected and/or downloaded.
Each software publisher participating in the iPAQ Choice Offer supplies email support as well as web sites offering further information on technical support, tips and hints and general help. Visit the product support page now.
Nearly all software related queries are found in the software publisher websites, so we always advise you to check there before contacting us directly for a specific software title related issue.
For further support relating to the website or problems encountered when downloading software you should Contact Customer Services.
Why does it say I have a trial version product?
All of the titles available on the iPAQ Choice Software store are full versions although some require the use of a product key / registration code to unlock the full version. The product key for all titles which require registration, can be found on the Download Agent and should be entered as soon as the software is installed onto your iPAQ.
The Download Agent will prompt you with a pop-up window containing the code as soon as the Install button is clicked.

How do I know if the accessory I want is compatible with my particular iPAQ model?
You can now select your iPAQ Pocket PC Series on the Accessories page. Once your iPAQ series is selected, you will only see the accessories compatible with your iPAQ Pocket PC. It's that simple.
I want to check the status of my accessory order?
Once logged in, simply go to 'Your Account' and then 'Order Status'. You can check all stages of your accessory order from when it was placed to when it's sent out to you. You can also see historical orders that you have placed.
What happens if I'm not in when my package is delivered?
If you are not in when the courier attempts to delivery your order they will leave a card for you with details of your package reference and a telephone contact number. You can then contact the courier directly to re-arrange delivery or arrange collection from a local depot if you wish.
Please note that re-deliveries cannot be arranged for Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays. Also once your parcel has been despatched from our warehouse we cannot change the delivery destination address.
Should your package be delivered back to our customer service office we will be in touch to confirm the address. If the address you originally gave was incorrect we will debit your card for the new delivery charge.
My package has not arrived?
If you have been notified by email that your order has been despatched and you do not receive your order or a notification from the courier that they have tried to deliver your package within this time scale, please contact our Customer Service Team who will be able to assist with the tracking of your package. We advise that you wait for 3-5 days (on top of your time scale) to have passed before contacting us to query a non-delivered item.
Please note we cannot be held responsible for any delays in the delivery of your order caused by the courier or by no-one being available to sign for your order at time of delivery.
Where can I have my order delivered to?
For security reasons we will not be able to deliver your order to any address other than your registered billing address
If you request delivery to your place of work this may create a slight delay in the processing of your order as further security checks will be carried out prior to despatch.
In certain circumstances we may ask you to provide us with proofs or identification or address before we can despatch your order. This is to protect both you and us.
VAT
This is a Accessories store. For this reason all product prices include Germany V.A.T. (Value Added Tax) at a rate of 19%. If your purchase is made outside of the EEC you will not be charged V.A.T.
There are no surcharges to overseas customers nor do we credit any local taxes. The price you see is the price you pay.
Customers outside of the EU
Goods sold by ipaqchoice.com that are dispatched to addresses outside of the European Union are generally not subject to EU VAT. When ordering goods for delivery overseas, you may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied once the package reaches your country.
Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you should contact your local customs office for further information.
Additionally, please note that when ordering from ipaqchoice.com, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.
Customs Information
Your privacy is important to us and we know that you care about how information about your order is used and shared. We would like our international customers to be aware that cross-border deliveries are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.
Also, we may provide certain order, delivery and product information to our international carriers and such information may be communicated by the carriers to customs authorities in order to facilitate customs clearance and comply with local laws.
Customs authorities require us to state the value of the gift item directly on the package.
Why does some products show a shipping charge and others do not?
We use a variety of distribution centres to ship products to you. We do this to gain as much of a saving we can to our customers.
